The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is sponsoring the National Lead Poisoning Prevention Training Center in Cleveland, Ohio on November 18-21, 2019. This training is aimed at state and local health department staff and it is limited to those with three or fewer years of experience in the field of lead poisoning. Staff members who have attended earlier sessions of this training are not eligible to attend.
There is no fee to attend this training; however, you must register using the online form below.
The training is taking place at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade. Please don’t forget to reserve your guest room. The cutoff date to reserve your room at the discounted rate of $109/night for single or double rooms (plus tax) is November 4, 2019.

If you are interested in receiving nursing continuing education credits, sanitarian continuing education units, or a certification of completion, you must attend the entire training. Please make your travel arrangements so that you can attend the first presentation on Monday, November 18 at 1:00 p.m. and will not have to leave before the training concludes at 3:30 pm on Thursday, November 21, 2019.
